A Stellar Community Fund award for Bloccpay
Bloccpay received a Stellar Community Fund award in SCF #43.
The Stellar Community Fund is a grants program for projects building on the Stellar network. Rounds are numbered. Awards are paid in XLM, the network’s asset. The round recap, published on 2 June 2026, lists Bloccpay on the Integration Track of SCF #43 at $100,000 worth of XLM. That dollar figure is the fund’s valuation of the XLM on the day of payment, using the CF Stellar Lumens-Dollar Settlement Price. The award is a grant. It is separate from the payroll and invoice payments processed on the product.
Bloccpay was founded in 2022. The years before the product were research and customer discovery. Operations and the private beta began in 2024. Private beta means a limited set of customers is using the product while it is still being built. The company is still in that stage. In that period it has processed more than $500,000 in payroll and invoice payments. The origin of the company, from the first broken payday to the private beta, is in that post.
The account was also published by TechCabal on 8 October 2026, Disrupt Africa on 25 September 2026, and TechNext.
In 2025 I was in the Techstars Founder Catalyst program. In June 2026 the Stellar Community Fund award arrived: $100,000 worth of XLM, a grant, separate from the payments the product has processed.
